The North Shropshire Wheelers Cycling Club (The Club) was formed in 1926. Its activities are based on the market town of Whitchurch, Shropshire. Although primarily a time-trialling club, its members also include track and road-racers, mountain bikers and tri-athletes. Any cyclist, whatever their discipline will be made welcome in the Club.

The Club has a very healthy and active membership, most members living within a 20 mile radius of Whitchurch.

The Club organises several events throughout the season, including a series of ‘10’ mile time-trials run on Wednesday evening, from May to August and, an open ‘25’ mile time trial in July. Club members, also, regularly organise training/touring weekends and holidays, both in the UK and abroad.

The Cub has, for several years, organised ‘The Cambrian Cycle Challenge’, which is held in the autumn. This is a non-competitive, challenging event over a choice of four routes of varying distances both ‘on’ and ‘off’ road. You choose what to ride!!

Midweek and weekend club runs, along with social events, are also a regular part of the Club calendar.
